What is Ecoalition?
A cause-based facilitator dedicated to supporting the health of our planet. When you select one of our eco-friendly bracelets, you’re helping to keep our seas clean, and ensuring a tree will be planted and cared for in the most deforested regions of Brazil with the end result of protecting the Amazon rainforest. You’re also opening the door to something larger: helping tip the scales back in favor of life itself.
When was it launched?
The concept was developed in February 2022 and officially formed into as a company on May 6, 2022. Our team has worked tirelessly for months perfecting the products, partnerships and brand for months leading up to our official launch in January 2023!
Who comprises the leadership team?
Jesse Lo Ré serves as the CEO. His longtime friend, business associate, and environmental supporter Dov Grossnass is the Chief Operating Officer.
What do we need to protect forests and rainforests?
Forests and rainforests are “the lungs” of our planet earth. Although there is ongoing scientific debate on the subject, some estimates report that more than 20 percent of the world’s oxygen is produced in the rainforest alone.
But due to deforestation, many areas can soon be reaching points where they are releasing more carbon than is absorbed, which would be cataclysmic for our planet.
What is Ecoalition doing to support the health of the planet?
The company empowers you to make a difference by providing you with the ability to help keep debris out of our seas and remotely plant and care for a tree in a deforested area in Brazil, thanks to your selection of an eco-friendly bracelet.
How are the bracelets made?
Bracelets are made from recycled materials, natural sea glass, cultured sea glass, coconut shells and seashells.
How does my tree make a difference?
A tree provides oxygen and removes harmful gasses, such as carbon dioxide, in our atmosphere. According to the Arbor Day Foundation, an average mature tree provides a day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people. In one year, this tree will absorb more than 48 pounds of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen in exchange.
How does the process work?
When you select one of our eco-friendly bracelets, you’re doing more than letting your friends and family know you support the planet’s health. You’re setting in motion a series of actions that starts with using recycled materials to keep debris out of our oceans, then planting trees in deforested areas and caring for them so they reach maturity. The end result is a tree that delivers oxygen, absorbs harmful emissions and helps sustain the planet.
We produce bracelets from materials sourced from leading recyclers, which helps keep these pollutants and waste from seeping into our soil and water. In parallel we work with our reforestation partner in Brazil that plants and cares for the trees to ensure they have the best opportunity to reach maturity.
How many trees does the company want to plant?
With your help, Ecoalition wants to clean up our seas and plant and care for millions of trees.
